Double your donation to Safe Child Africa in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge.
We are taking part in the Christmas Challenge to raise £8,000 in just 1 week!
Following your generous and overwhelming response to our campaign last year to rebuild the Emergency Children’s Shelter in Calabar, we are now raising money to work directly with the communities where Child Witchcraft Accusations start.
Superstitious beliefs in witchcraft often mean that children can find themselves homeless, rejected by their communities, imprisoned, starved or subjected to horrific abuse, rape and trafficking.
This is where we step in. We work with ‘key holders’ to communities: government departments, churches, academics, women’s groups, journalists, local charities, NGO’s, support organisations and traditional rulers to help create a more peaceful and just society, where all children are safe from harm.
In this PACT Pastors Project, Safe Child Africa will work with brave and passionate Christian leaders who are prepared to speak out and challenge the belief in child witches publicly and during their sermons.
Donations to our PACT Project will be generously matched by our supporters & our Big Give Champion name during the campaign meaning your money can go twice as far to halt and reverse outdated and appalling beliefs.
